PILLAR Introduction/Objectives

The PILLAR is the bimonthly newsletter of the Muslim Youth Council of Winnipeg. It has been in existence for over five years and is still motivating Muslims to action till this very day. The PILLAR's purpose is to provide an active voice for the Muslim Youth of Winnipeg, to provide a forum to get our message across in a creative and fresh way. The PILLAR is one of the many mediums the future of the ummah have of expressing themselves.

The Pillar has an exciting and proffessional format with regular columns. The columns are of a rich variety, ranging from in depth editorials and situation reports to lighter material like comics and sports Issues.

PILLAR even features its own fiqh section, answering various questions pertaining to Islam. The questions are all answered by Winnipeg's own "Slick", the doctor of fiqh.
