I first came to this part of the world in 1973 (Thailand, Cambodia,
Laos) and altogether I have lived in SE Asia for more than 18 years,
in particular I have worked and lived in Singapore for the past 16
years, interspersed by several years of employment in Indonesia (BATAM
& BINTAN).
I have met many interesting and influential people. During this time I
have also done business and spent a lot of time in Taiwan, China,
Thailand and Malaysia and I have visited Hongkong, Vietnam, Brunei and
Australia. I have been a Singapore PR since end 1989.

I have been a foreigner since the age of ten when I first moved from
my native Germany to France. Language/ communication has never been a
problem, be it in France, USA, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand... During
my professional life I have directed staff of many nationalities and
have dealt with people of all social levels. I am perfectly
tri-lingual and don't have a foreign accent, neither in English,
French nor German.
